Hello, I’ve been in the field for 25 years in multiple capacities. ER, University LAR, GP ( VT, HT and PM. ) Credentials from NYS and AALAS.
I love helping most of the owners and all the patients. We are a two doctor practice in NJ with all the bells and whistles.
Still watching the same in fighting between technicians with credentials and those trained on the job.
I'm not sure the profession can continue on it's current path of high expectations and poor compensation.
I need encouragement to stay in this. I no longer see the rainbow at the end of the day.

Honestly this is a constant battle that really needs to stop. We either need to make it a requirement or stop. It creates such an unnecessary wall between this entire field. You have to take a look at your needs and decide if this field is something you want to continue with or not. Sometimes a break really helps (this was what I did) but it’ll depend on the person. Either way it’s important to remember that regardless of your decision, do it for yourself ❤️ Shena
